Lucknow is popularly known for its traditional Tehjeeb or say etiquettes. The city is build up huge architectural buildings that represents the artistic qualities of the Mughal Culture. These extraordinary monuments are build up with dedicated heart and vision containing the texture of Nawabi Shan. At present, Lucknow is one of the most visited city in the world because of its cultural and magnificent connections. Monuments like Bada Imaanbada, Chota Imambada, Lucknow Residency, buildings of Lamart’s etc. One can visit the place inside or outside the boundaries of this city. There are existing some of the important and thrilling tourist places that comes in the must watch category of the city’s nearby places. One of the best example is that of Dudhwa National Park, a famous Wild Life tourist destination.
Dudhwa National Park is also known as Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is situated in the Indo- Nepal Border in Uttar Pradesh. The project was started as an important step to save the species of tiger. This project was upmost imagined for the conservation of Indian Tigers. The site lays about 222 km north of Lucknow at the foothills of Himalayan regions. The park plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance of the region. The sanctuary is known for its flora and fauna and different species staying in the environment. This reserve was established in the year 1958 focusing the only reserve of Swamp deer but later in the year 1977 was declared as National Park and a Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in 1988. Dudhwa National Park is covered with its two other major reserves named as Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary.
The reserve is home to large Sal trees not only this about 450 types of migratory birds resides in these lush green forest. Some of the examples of these birds are Hornbill, Fishing Eagle and Serpent Eagle etc. The flock of these birds can be best wath in the months of winters. The various other animals residing in this reserve are tigers, panthers, leopards, one-horned rhinoceros and (swamp deers) along with endangered species like the Hispid Hare and Bengal Florican. Tourists visiting the park are mesmerized by the fresh water lakes and rivers present inside. Reason for these flow of rivers are the tributaries of river Ganga that passes the park. These Water bodies are home for varieties of turtles, crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins. This park plays a vital role in the maintenance ecological balance and biodiversity. One is attracted to the place because of its beautiful locations and that why is famous among bird watchers, wildlife watchers and for the wildlife photographers.
