Our city Lucknow is popular with this above name given to it. During the reign of Nawabs, The city was known as Awadh. The name is connected with this place from the days when Faizabad used to the state’s former capital. Even today, the evenings of Lucknow are considered most unique feelings to experience and watch. The biggest attraction of such views are those buildings that are situated on the bank of River Gomti. Most of these historical buildings were built during the time of Nawabs. Areas near the Gomti River are visited by couples, youngsters, Families or friends. One can view the architectural beauty of the city by taking a trip in the river in the evening.
