this above name given to it. During the reign of Nawabs, The city was known as
Awadh. The name is connected with this place from the days when Faizabad used
to the state’s former capital. Even today, the evenings of Lucknow are
considered most unique feelings to experience and watch. The biggest attraction
of such views are those buildings that are situated on the bank of River Gomti.
Most of these historical buildings were built during the time of Nawabs. Areas
near the Gomti River are visited by couples, youngsters, Families or friends.
